GSW wins Game 1: 89-104

Oh em gee!

Warriors wins first game of the 2016 NBA finals.

You know guys, the last time I went gaga over NBA was the time of  Magic and Bird. Panahon pa ni Jaworski sa PBA. So oo, ang tanders ko na.

I am an avid fan of basketball, especially PBA. My first memory of PBA was that of a game between Crispa and Toyota. I heard my Dad and Kuya that they were going to watch the game in Araneta and because of that I got exposed to watching basketball on tv.

 I was in grade 6 when I became a fan of Purefoods, because of Jolas. And because even if they were an underdog they managed to  win over Ginebra that time. When I was in college, UAAP naman ang kinabaliwan ko. I was a student of  UST for those years that they got the three-peat title. Ang saya saya talaga manood ng basketball.

Fast forward to today, I am now a fan of a different team, just because my hubby works there.  And last year, I became a fan of GSW, I became an avid fan of Stephen Cury. I was again hooked with NBA.

Bakit Warriors? Their history and background had me root for them. When a team has not won any championship much less got into finals for so many decades, and then there they were, pasok sa finals, you will surely root for this team because you know that they are hungry for the title. (Though, Cubs also had their finals drought for decades as well. Di ko sila bet kasi di ko lang type si Lebron). They did not fail the fans and the newly formed fans of this team. They snatched that title from Cubs last year,  and this year was a re-match. RE-MATCH!! Ang saya saya.

Bakit Cury? Ang galing nya, period. Though my hubby said mas magaling si Thompson. Mas pogi naman si Cury. Magaling na, pogi pa. Hahaha.

Anyways, all-out GSW ulit ako this year. Feeling ko mananalo sila, home-court advantage e. Kaso nakakaawa naman cubs if they lose again this year. Oh well, that how sports is, may winner, may loser.

Can't wait for Game 2 on June 7, Manila time.
