Quote that fits my mood #3
It's that time of the year, when all accountants are "aligaga". It's audit season, and this is the time of the year when I usually feel burned out. I came from audit, pero ewan ko, I still feel toxic when its audit season. Sinabayan pa ng new sets of rules in preparing the 2015 FS, nalelerkey akey!
Sige na nga, smile na lang ng smile. There's no better choice except to smile. Pag sumimangot ako, anong mapapala ko. Manood na lang ako ng Pangako sa'yo, last 3 weeks na lang daw e.
Anong connect?!? Ewan! Burned out ako eh!

Breakfast muna at K&L Cafe
Goooood mawning! Happy morning ko, kasi busog ako. Kumain ka ba naman ng 6 na nilagang saba maghapon kahapon, di ka ba magugutom.
Hehehe. I am actually trying to lose weight. 138 lbs na ako after the holidays. I need to lose pounds before May 7 coz I have a wedding to attend to. Target weight 125 lbs, achieved sana by May 7.
Heniweyz, before coming to work we decided to eat first at K#L Cafe in Katipunan Ave., White Plains. From the outside it looks like a bakeshop, but it actually serves other meals like, pasta, pizza and rice meals. I ordered the following meal:
Sarap! I was not able to take photos of what my husband ordered but he ordered for Boneless Crispy Dilis for P145 and Cafe Latte-Iced for P105. Total bill was only P520 but with a satisfied and full tummy. What a way to start my happy weekends! :)

Quote that fits my moods#2
Easy to say, easy to read, but a lot of times, hard to do. We're only human. We need to be acknowledged for us to know we are doing the right thing.
Plastic naman, kung sasabihin ko na ok lang if credit was given to others. But if you are a professional, you will give credit to whom it is due. Hindi kung kelan mali dun ka lang natuturo.
Hehehe. Matinding hugot in a Thursday morning. Enough na ang nega at bukas weekends na. Yahoo! . I will just try to practice the above.
Heto pa sa ibaba, something for me to ponder pa.
Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

Quotes that fit my moods#1
Do you guys, love to read quotes, be it about love, family, friends, attitude or just life in general?
Me, yes. I can just easily relate to these quotes that I see on my Facebook newsfeed and my Instagram.
I have a small notebook where I write the quotes or phrases that catch my attention. When I feel down, I scan through my notebook to find the perfect quote/phrase that will match my moods for that day.
This 2016, I would like to share to you guys quotes that touch my heart. So by that, you know more or less, how I feel for that day. Let us start! Here is my first quote for 2016 for this blog;
What ever it is that you say or do or act, people will always judge you. Specially those that don't like you. You know yourself more than they do. AS long as you know you haven't stepped on somebody's shoes, you're good.
Proving that to someone who hates you, is just plain useless.
Have a nice day!

Caleruega visit before the first work week of 2016
The weekends before the start of the first work week of 2016, we had a huling hirit vacation in Tagaytay. It was an overnight vacation and we stayed in a rented rest house owned by the family of my hubby's friend. Ganda ng house I will photo blog it in a different post.
Anyway, before going home, we visited Caleruega Church first. It was my second time there, but there were no photos that were taken.
This time, we reached the chapel past 12:00 pm already and there were no more mass-goers. The chapel was only filled with people praying their personal intentions. So we went inside, prayed for a little while, prayed my intentions and explored the area.
I just photo blog na lang, so that you may appreciate the beauty of the place. But first a little background on Caleruega Church:
"Also known as the Transfiguration Chapel located at Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas. This rustic church is standing perfectly in the midst of luscious greenery and colorful flowers abounding the place. Located at the highest point of Caleruega, the view and landscape of the church is the most photographed. Couples and ordinary sightseers alike will enjoy the beauty of the church."

Now for the photos:
Nice the pine trees may star sa tuktok |
Puro outside shots, coz I was not able to take photos of the inside of the chapel. I don't want to disturb those who were solemnly praying.
So, that's how our huling hirit sa bakasyon 2015 went during the last weekends of December.
How I survived the first week of 2016
Hello 2016! Hope you will be as cooperative to us as 2015 was. My 2015 highlight was when we were able to pursue our long-time dream of having our own little business. Small, but at least it is the start of something that could help us save for our retirement.
I allowed a week to pass before writing my first post for 2016. Our company's annual practice is to have a 2-week vacation right after our Christmas office party. And usually, when you come from a very long vacation, ang hirap mag adjust when you get back to the office on the first working day of the new year.
First working day, I did not allow stress to overcome my emotions. What I can do, I did, what I can not finish, I just continued it the next day.
Honestly, this year, my goal is to improve myself in all aspects:
1 - Spiritual: To get back to my usual ritual, that is praying early in the morning. I have this set of prayers, that I used to pray before. I noticed that, my mood swings were lessened, but last year, seldom ko na lang nagawa ang prayers, kaya madalas may kaaway ako. :)
2 - Physical: Current weight 137 lbs. That's what happens when I don't do prayers. I turn to binge-eating when I am stressed. This year my target weight is 124 lbs. Good luck to me.
3 - Emotional: To improve myself, I would really choose my battles really well. And to be able to do so, I will have to achieve no. 1.
4 - Financially - To add another branch of our franchised business. Start to set aside travel funds to be able to go to Japan.
Anyway, the first week went well without any major moods swings. Work load is still the same. I thought it will be helluva 1st-week office work last week. But, in fairness na carry ko naman.
2016, be good to us!
