Pangit Nasimulan, Natulog ng Masaya dahil sa Ginebra

I mentioned in a previous blog that I never wanted my Sunday to be a toxic day. It's my rest day and time for family. But somehow, ang aga aga pa lang, sira na talaga araw ko . Worst is that it happened before we attend Mass. Sabi ko nga, bakit ba tuwing bago na lang magsimba, lagi na lang akong nagagalit. It's a test of patience no?

Anyways, after Mass, nahimasmasan na ako and let everything go. Sabi nga God is always there to guide us so bahala na si Jesus. He forgives me always so why don't I?

Well, if my day started awful, it ended naman na happy. You see, I root for Ginebra. Yes I am a Ginebra fan here. So obvious na why I ended my Sunday happy and contented?

Kudos to Coach Tim Cone, bakit ba ang galing galing mo? Galit ako sayo dati kasi ang galing mo! Ngayun love na kita kasi ang galing mo talaga!

Lolz! E di wow! Good luck again on Game 3.

Crossroads

Have you ever felt the need to go but still can not because there are still a lot of strings hanging?

I feel that now. Yeah I so feel that now.

Image result for decisions in life

So easy to make a decision, yes or no, left or right, black or white, leave or stay. But the hardest part is to act on the decision you've just made. I pray God give me strength to act on it. I need strength, I need guidance, I need a push.

Hotel Kimberly Staycation Part 2

It's 3:00 pm, coffee break muna. But I'll blog first the second part of our weekend getaway in Hotel Kimberly, Tagaytay.

Photos below are the game room and lobby.

Foosball

Basketball

Arts Area

Billiards

Table tennis

Reception

Entrance

Lobby
Bonfire

Marshmallow roasting

Wreck it Ralph

Dining area
I was not able to take pictures of the playground. In the playground, there's the monkey bars, swing made from tires,  slides, obstacle course, great for office activities.

For you to be able to use the game room, approach any person in the reception area, leave an ID and they will give you the ball or paddle of the game that you want to play with. Huwag kayong mahihiya sa reception coz they're the nicest people I've ever encountered in all the hotels we've stayed in. Walang exception, lahat sila napaka approachable.

Ang ganda talaga dito for family, friends or company bonding. If there is a downside of this hotel, it's the poor wifi connection. But who needs internet when you have lots of activities that you can do. Yung pag gala pa lang sa farm nakaka ubos na nang oras e. Besides, pag walang internet wala ka talagang choice kungdi makapag bonding. Why did we go here in the first place, para mag bakasyon diba? Kung mag internet lang e di sa bahay na lang. Divah???

O sige till our next staycation. Hope you try Hotel Kimberly, enjoy talaga.

Hotel Kimblerly Tagaytay - Recommended Weekend Getaway Part 1

I am sorry for the late post, but I had deadlines to attend to in the office last week. Now I am in the office and I am blogging. Boohoo! I know, I know, I am bad but it is 5 minutes to lunch time and I am really out of sync with my *** right now, well, actually for awhile now. I have been contemplating for almost two years already whether to stay or go. I chose to go. Now the question is when?

Anyways, on to our post. We enjoyed a long weekend during the last weekend of August due to the celebration of National Heroes' day. As early as May, I had already booked at Hotel Kimberly because I had already anticipated long weekends already for the succeeding months.

I was looking for a highly-rated hotel in Tagaytay, and as expected,  my searches would always come up with Taal Vista and for me that is too pricey. So I just looked for a "recommended for family" hotel and Hotel Kimberly came up in my searches.

I read almost all reviews in Agoda and most of them recommended the hotel because of the following activities that kids will enjoy:

1. Mini Farm
2. Swimming pool
3. Playground
4. Game room with foosball, basketball, billiards, table tennis, air hockey
5. Movie night with free popcorn
6. Bonfire with marshmallows
7. Horse-back riding

Upon reading this I knew that this is the one. We are going to enjoy in this hotel while relaxing. Indeed, true to their reviews, we enjoyed our overnight stay in Hotel Kimberly. Aside from all the above-mentioned activities, the staff are so friendly. They never fail to greet us with a smile. I soooo love this hotel and I highly recommend this hotel in Tagaytay if you are staying as family specially with kids. We booked a deluxe twin room from August 27-28 and took the Carmona route going up Tagaytay. No traffic noted, probably because people are used to taking Sta. Rosa going up.

Let me photo-blog first so that you can see how wonderful this hotel is for family.

The room, with toilet and bath and balcony. Downside of the balcony, we were drying our swimsuit under the sun, and we totally forgot about it upon check out. Our fault, our bad!

View from the balcony

Rooms and toilet are clean. No molds noted during our stay. No "amoy-kulob". Sheets were soft and mabango.

Below pictures are the different angle of the pool area where you can take your breakfast or order snacks in the afternoon. There was the gazebo where we had the movie night. It was supposed to be outside the pool area, but it drizzled so the staff pack it up and set it  up inside the gazebo.

Gazebo

We had our after- breakfast- coffee here with some desserts

Their mini farm with farm animals. The signs said the animals are for sale. I did not ask the caretakers. The farm is located behind the pool area separated with plants, bushes and trees. It's a huge land housing various animals such as pheasant, turkey, sheeps, pigs rabbits, ducks, hens, guinea pig and horses. There are three horses, but there is only one horse where they allow kids to ride for P200 for 30 minutes. The other two horses are too "makulit" to be rode on according to the jockey.

Feeding time is at 9:00-10:00 am and 4:00- 5:00 in the afternoon. The Kuya allows the kids to feed the animals with leaves from trees. Wyeth had a fun time feeding the sheeps and rabbits. Just be cautious with the sheeps. If you want your kids to feed them, alalay lang kayo, kasi they're too strong for little kids. I had to hold my son's hands so as not to be pulled by the sheep. I just forgot to ask hubby to take our pictures, because even me I enjoyed feeding them.

These animals are domesticated. I observed that they are used to people and when they see people they make "pa-cute" so that you will feed them.

So there! Exciting isn't it? But I have to end this Part 1 of my post. Next post I will feature the game room, the lobby, the bonfire and movie night.

Quicklean Laundry on a rainy weekends

You know guys, because of the never ending rain last week until the weekends, I discovered Quickclean laundry. A wash-dry-fold laundry shop which is self-service. For rainy days like the previous week, big help talaga itong mga ganitong establishments kasi tapus agad ang labada mo in 1 hour, the least.

I just can't remember the rates basta we paid P80 for 29 minutes washing then P80 also for 19 minutes drying.

Sayang nga kasi we were not able to maximize the minimum load of 8 kg. We only brought around 3kg of our soiled clothes. My purpose was only to wash at least yung gagamitin namin ng Monday to Wednesday. E sana pala dinala na namin lahat pati yung bedsheets, kumot, pillowcases, towels.

Pero sabi ng officemate ko, mahal daw yung rate sa Antipolo. I asked her how much ang rate sa Maynila she said around P50 for the lightest load. And sa Maynila, coin operated, dito kasi sa Antipolo may computer system. You do not need coins, it is directly connected sa computer and you will be assigned a machine where you will load your clothes and your detergents and fabcon. Parang computer shop lang.

When you're ready, the bantay will turn on something on the system and when you see on the small screen of the washing machine "push start" then that's the time that you should push start.

I am contemplating about this, whether to use this na lang kesa i palaba pa sa kasambahay. At least ito within 1 1/2 hours tapus kana mag laba, natuyo pa nilabhan mo. Hmmmm.

May na idulot din na maganda ang ulan ng ulan.  You discover and able to explore other options. In my case na try ko din tong self service laundry na sa US tv shows ko lng nakikita.  Ganda syang pam bonding ng pamilya. Hehehehe.

Friday Rain

It's almost uwian  but the skies' so dark. I bet it's gonna rain like hell later kung kelan naman rush hour na.

I want to go home already baka abutan kami ng malakas na ulan at ma stranded kami. But it's only 5:30. Pak shet!

Last Friday, I commuted going home because hubby attended their company's anniversary party in Crowne Plaza. The line for the shuttle going to Masinag was not that long pero naman, ang tagal dumating ng shuttle. I was able to ride around 8 pm but due to heavy rains and traffic, it was past 10 pm when I arrived home.

Kamote yung travel na yon. I came from Davao pa because  we attended an event. Tapus the next morning we need to get up early because of our Annual Stockholders' meeting naman.

And now it's Friday once again, I don't want to experience that helluva traffic again last week. I want to go home at once but hubby and I are going to buy a computer set for our business' use. Kamote!

See the above photo? It's a view from my office and it's only 5:30.  Let's go home na and be safe!
Belat sakin kasi mamaya pa ako uuwi. Uwi na kayo. Happy weekends, happy rainy weekends!

And It's August Already!

One more month to go and its the start of the ber month. I still have full vivid memory of last year's ber months happenings. Heck, I still have vivid memories of 2014's ber months.

Four and a half months to go and its 2017. I have to go back to my first post in 2016 to check if I was able to fulfill even half of my 2016 new year's resolution.

Bakit ba nagmamadali ang panahon, ano ang hinahabol? Puede ba chumill ka muna?

Singapore 2015 Day# 2

Oo na ang tagal nasundan ng day 2 sa Singapore post ko. I had to reset kasi my iphone nga. Buti na lang hubby was able to take pictures using his ipod touch.

As I've said in my previous post, we had our tickets for the legoland package reserved a day before. Their office is at Singapore Flyer, WTS Travel yung travel agency. We were there around 8:00 am to reserve for our Malaysia trip the next day. Para mga sa OC and wanted talaga to make sure na prior to leaving Phils, ay may tickets na, you can book naman online here.  I have not tried this though kaya don't ask me how. Suerte lang kami that we were able to book pa a day prior the travel to Legoland.

By the way, while aboard the plane to Singapore, we had to fill up arrival / departure card ba yun. You have to fill up the next city to go to after Singapore and put  Johor Bahru kasi that card will be given to you to present it to the immigration in Singapore going out to Malaysia. The immigration officer there was looking for it, and I could not understand what card she was looking for, buti na lang mejo patient sya and she showed me what it looks like. So I got it from hubby, kasi lahat ng cards na sa kanya.

Anyways, bawal ang picture taking sa immigration, just prepare all the docs that the officer will need and madali lang ang interview sa yo. So sa loob ng bus may tourist guide, strict sya sa oras ng meet up pag uwi, mang iiwan talaga ang bus, so if your schedule is at 4:00 pm, be there at 4:00 pm.  otherwise you will get the next bus, e anong oras pa yun?

So I will photo blog na what happened in Legoland. Medyo kulimlim so we expected to rain in the afternoon.

Taken at the entrance of the park.

Everyday, Everyday the Magic is here! - Enchanted ba to?

To be honest I've enjoyed Disneyland more than Legoland. But the two boys enjoyed so much here. Kasi nga siguro lalaki? Kayang kaya ikutin ng half day itong park na to.

If you ask me if I find it sulit to come back here, I'll say no, mas babalik balikan ko pa ang Disneyland, Hongkong. Kasi ang Disneyland malaki at kulang ang isang araw para libutin ito.

Anyways, if you have a son, bring him here, sobrang matutuwa yun. O ayan tapus na ang 2nd day namin.

Our 3rd day was pretty much boring na. Dun lang kami sa Orchard Road nag ikot ikot, we waited for our flight back to Manila at the hotel. Our flight was at 2:00 am the next day.

Our trip to Singapore was brief, but we enjoyed every single minute while we were there. Nakita ko kasi na ang saya saya ng  mag ama, and that made me so happy na rin.

Till our next travel. :)
