Oh em gee!
Warriors wins first game of the 2016 NBA finals.
You know guys, the last time I went gaga over NBA was the time of Magic and Bird. Panahon pa ni Jaworski sa PBA. So oo, ang tanders ko na.
I am an avid fan of basketball, especially PBA. My first memory of PBA was that of a game between Crispa and Toyota. I heard my Dad and Kuya that they were going to watch the game in Araneta and because of that I got exposed to watching basketball on tv.
I was in grade 6 when I became a fan of Purefoods, because of Jolas. And because even if they were an underdog they managed to win over Ginebra that time. When I was in college, UAAP naman ang kinabaliwan ko. I was a student of UST for those years that they got the three-peat title. Ang saya saya talaga manood ng basketball.
Fast forward to today, I am now a fan of a different team, just because my hubby works there. And last year, I became a fan of GSW, I became an avid fan of Stephen Cury. I was again hooked with NBA.
Bakit Warriors? Their history and background had me root for them. When a team has not won any championship much less got into finals for so many decades, and then there they were, pasok sa finals, you will surely root for this team because you know that they are hungry for the title. (Though, Cubs also had their finals drought for decades as well. Di ko sila bet kasi di ko lang type si Lebron). They did not fail the fans and the newly formed fans of this team. They snatched that title from Cubs last year, and this year was a re-match. RE-MATCH!! Ang saya saya.
Bakit Cury? Ang galing nya, period. Though my hubby said mas magaling si Thompson. Mas pogi naman si Cury. Magaling na, pogi pa. Hahaha.
Anyways, all-out GSW ulit ako this year. Feeling ko mananalo sila, home-court advantage e. Kaso nakakaawa naman cubs if they lose again this year. Oh well, that how sports is, may winner, may loser.
Can't wait for Game 2 on June 7, Manila time.

Hugot ng Magulang
I was watching Magandang Buhay on IWANTV this lunch break on my tablet. Their topic was about parenting style of celebrities.
Their two guests were Aiko Melendez and her son, K Brosas and her daughter Crystal. K has a story about her daughter which forced her to be physical with Crystal. Crystal was supposed to be watching Bieber's concert in MOA but for some reason, her assistant lost her. Hinabol daw pala kasi ni Crystal yung bus ni Justin Bieber. For 30 mins the assistant couldn't find Crystal and K was already losing her mind. Pag kitang pag kita raw ni K sa anak niya nasampal nya ito sa sobrang galit at kaba.
Karla Estrada experienced this too with Daniel kasi hindi sumabay sa service at gabi na wala pa. Nasampal din daw niya pagdating. At ako I remembered nasampal din ako ni Mama because of that.
We had a biglaang practice for a presentation. Since hindi pa uso cellphone noon, ni beeper wala pa. At wala pa ring linya ng PLDT sa Antipolo, I had no way of informing them but through a note. My note said, that hindi ako sasabay sa school service because we had a practice. I gave my bag and note to the service driver.
I got home at 9:30, my friend had their driver drove me home and my friend also accompanied me home. She wanted to get out of their car to talk to my Mom, but I said no, coz I know how mad my Mom will be. True enough when I got home, sa gate pa lang sinampal na agad ako ni Mama. Walang tanong tanong, pak! sampal agad.
That time I could not understand her why she was freaking angry about it when in fact I left a note for them to know what I will do and where I will be. Sabi ni Kuya, malay daw ba nila kung ako talaga ang nagsulat non.
Fast forward to today, I have a son, I now understand every parents' fear of losing their children. Paranoid na kami kung sa paranoid, pero isang segundo lang malingat sa paningin ko ang anak ko naka sigaw agad ako ng pangalan niya to know where he is.
When the time comes he is in his teens, I know mas magiging adventurous at stubborn itong anak ko ito. Akong ako e. Alam mo anak, you don't understand our fear yet today, but someday when you have a family of your own, maiintindihan mo rin. Kaya be obedient so that Mama and Papa won't worry much. Buti na lang di sya mahilig sa mabibilis na kotse. Nakakatakot daw kasi. So yun I know I won't have a problem sa mga drag racing kasi takot sya. Pero alam kong magiging lakwatsera sya. He is a mall rat just like me.
O sya, just shared to you a piece of my childhood, kala ko kasi ako lang ang nasasampal e. Normal pala naman. :))

It's Monday, what a way to start Monday? Dapat energetic noh? But my body feels down today. Dami ko kinain na carbs last weekends, kaya ang bagal ng pulso ko today. Meaning tamad na tamad ako mga ineng.
